So, our school board, in it's infinite wisdom votes to close the campuses at lunch. It sounded like a good idea if it were to be enforced.
But, what does the school board do in it's infinite wisdom? It exempts 3 of the schools in the county.
What are we paying these people for? They come out with zero tolerance rules for some offenses, without exemptions, even over the silliest of infractions, then turn around and exempt schools and students from rules that should not even have been put into place in the first place.
As far as leaving campus for lunch, that should be up to the parents as to whether or not to allow their child the freedom to go. Not the "nanny" school board.
